Role overview

We are hiring an experienced Watch Technician to become part of a workshop that is expanding. This is a practical, hands-on position for someone who already has experience repairing watches and can confidently complete routine repair and servicing work to a high standard. Background in a watch repair centre, jewellery store, service department, or a comparable setting is preferred.

Key responsibilities

Replace quartz movements as needed
Fit new watch glass and crystals
Change crowns and pushers
Carry out battery changes and routine maintenance servicing
Dismantle and reassemble cases and bracelets
Reseal watches and perform pressure testing
Repair and size bracelets
Identify faults and assess repair requirements
Check the quality of finished work before completion
Keep the workshop organised and work toward productivity goals

Essential requirements

Prior experience as a Watch Technician or in a comparable watch repair role
Comfort working with very small, delicate precision parts
Excellent eye for detail and commitment to quality
Strong organisational ability and efficient workload management
Dependable, professional, and self-driven approach
Ability to perform well independently and within a team

Desirable skills

Polishing watch cases and bracelets
Experience handling luxury watch brands
Understanding of water resistance testing methods
Basic mechanical watch repair knowledge
