Role overview
Meubles, a well-known independent retailer of furniture and homewares in Ireland, is looking for a full-time Web Content Creator to join its marketing team. This position is focused on expanding online revenue through the company website by building, updating, and managing product listings that support customer needs and improve sales and margin. The role is based at the Kilkenny City headquarters.
What you will do
- Gather product details and images, working closely with buyers and suppliers to ensure content is accurate and complete.
- Write product titles, meta descriptions, attributes, and other web copy needed for listings.
- Enter and maintain content in the stock management backend using Excel and testing workflows.
- Improve and edit imagery and photography for use across the website.
- Create promotional banners for offers, seasonal ranges, and similar campaigns.
- Build landing pages for campaigns and review how well they perform.
- Prepare email marketing campaigns to support the website and in-store sales funnel.
- Support organic search efforts by refining keywords and creating relevant supporting content.
- Assist with PPC activity by helping refine keywords against search intent and competitors.
- Contribute to work in Google Analytics.
- Help with social media campaign activity when needed, including appearing in photoshoots and reels for product demonstrations.
- Carry out general administrative tasks as required.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar position.
- Ability to work independently, take responsibility, and manage projects proactively.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written, visual, and verbal communication skills.
- Hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Suite tools such as Photoshop, Dreamweaver, InDesign, and Illustrator, as well as Canva.
- Working knowledge of SEO tools and practices, such as Yoast and Moz.
- Experience using CMS platforms such as Magento and WordPress.
- Experience with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp and Klaviyo.
- Willingness to handle a wide range of tasks.
- This is not a dedicated social media position; social media work is handled by an external agency, though the person hired should be comfortable appearing in reels for product-related demonstrations.
