Role overview

As a Wireless Sales Consultant, you play a key role in delivering an excellent customer experience within the wireless area. You support a culture of learning and growth by staying engaged, building your wireless product knowledge, and sharing what you know with customers, colleagues, and other store functions. This is a sales-focused position where you help both consumer and business customers choose wireless products and services that support their work and learning needs.

Key responsibilities

  • Build relationships with customers, uncover wireless and wireline sales opportunities, and help turn those opportunities into sales.
  • Respond to customer needs with strong product and service knowledge, then follow up to gather feedback and introduce relevant add-ons or services.
  • Work with the store team to increase awareness of current offers, generate excitement around wireless solutions, and encourage referrals.
  • Work toward and achieve individual sales targets.
  • Keep merchandising displays aligned with company standards, including accurate and up-to-date pricing.
  • Follow asset protection practices and respect privacy standards at all times.
  • Stay informed through internal communication tools such as the mobile app, intranet, and bulletin boards.
  • Address customer concerns effectively and involve management when an issue needs escalation.

Qualifications

  • Between 3 months and 1 year of experience in wireless sales or general sales.
  • Strong focus on customer service and satisfaction.
  • Proven ability to sell confidently and effectively.
  • Ability to guide or coach others when needed.
  • Comfortable communicating with clients through different channels and formats.
  • Good planning, organization, and prioritization skills to manage daily tasks and customer needs.
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new tools and products.
  • Curious, approachable, enthusiastic, and solution-oriented.
