Workday Prism Consultant

About the Role

Kainos is looking for a Workday Prism Consultant to help deliver enterprise-level Workday implementations for a worldwide customer base. The role focuses on preparing, shaping, and loading organizational and employee data into Workday tenants, with a strong emphasis on quality, accuracy, and practical business fit.

You will partner directly with customers to understand their data requirements and guide the solution design so it is effective, commercially sensible, and aligned with project goals. The position also involves close collaboration with functional leads and other stakeholders to keep implementations moving smoothly, while leading the data stream across projects.

What You Will Do

• Support the implementation and configuration of large-scale Workday solutions.
• Gather customer data needs and translate them into workable delivery approaches.
• Prepare, transform, and format organizational and employee data before it is loaded into Workday.
• Lead the data workstream on implementation projects.
• Coordinate with functional team leads and key stakeholders to maintain delivery momentum.
• Balance customer expectations with commercial considerations when shaping solutions.
• Rotate across Workday delivery services, including Consulting and Application Management Services, as needed.
• Travel to customer sites within the same region when required, with only limited travel outside the region.

What We Are Looking For

• Workday HCM or Financials certification, or prior experience with comparable HCM/ERP platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Workday Prism.
• Strong capability in data analysis, data manipulation, reporting, and formatting.
• Advanced Excel knowledge.
• Careful attention to detail and the ability to identify errors and inconsistencies in large datasets.
• Solid awareness of business and technology topics, plus current industry developments.
• Comfort working to demanding deadlines and making sound decisions under pressure.
• Commercial awareness in a services environment, including the importance of utilisation targets.
• Ability to work across different delivery services within Workday.
• Willingness to travel to customer locations in-region when needed.

Nice to Have

• Awareness of how data formatting can vary across countries and jurisdictions for global delivery.
