Workforce Onboarding & Development Lead

Wisdom is seeking a full-time Workforce Onboarding & Development Lead to join our operations team. This role is crucial in ensuring new Revenue Specialists are well-prepared for success from their first day. You will be responsible for managing the entire onboarding experience for every new Revenue Specialist, including comprehensive training, building proficiency across various practice management systems, and setting them up for successful initial assignments. This is a fully remote position, reporting to the Billing Operations Workforce Manager.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with the Billing Operations Hiring & Onboarding Manager to deliver consistent and high-quality onboarding experiences.
  • Guide new Revenue Specialists through the complete onboarding process, from initial company policy and procedure introductions to readiness for client placement.
  • Conduct one-on-one meetings with new Revenue Specialists for training, feedback, and to monitor their progress, satisfaction, and engagement.
  • Track the progress of Revenue Specialists during onboarding, identifying strengths and areas for development with constructive and supportive feedback.
  • Create, update, and maintain training materials using tools like Canva, ensuring content is current, visually appealing, and effective.
  • Identify training needs and skill gaps among new Revenue Specialists and develop targeted assignments to enhance their knowledge before client interaction.
  • Manage administrative aspects of onboarding, including progress tracking and setting up Google Workspace tools (Chat, Drive, Google Calendar, etc.).
  • Evaluate work quality at critical stages to confirm Revenue Specialists meet Wisdom's standards prior to client engagement.
  • Propose and implement improvements to the onboarding process in partnership with the wider team to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

How We Measure Success

Success in this role is gauged by the effectiveness of the onboarding program, indicated by:

  • Onboarding Timelines: Ensuring Revenue Specialists progress efficiently and achieve placement readiness within established timeframes.
  • Candidate Experience: New Revenue Specialists feeling supported, informed, and confident throughout their onboarding journey, as evidenced by feedback and engagement.
  • Post-Onboarding Performance: Revenue Specialists demonstrating high-quality work and achieving client satisfaction in their initial assignments.
  • Program Effectiveness: Continuous enhancement of onboarding materials, processes, and interactions based on performance outcomes, feedback, and identified needs.

We'd Love to Hear From You If You Have

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in remote dental billing, with a thorough understanding of billing procedures and regulations.
  • Extensive practical knowledge of multiple dental Practice Management Systems (PMS).
  • Proficiency in using tools like Canva for creating and updating training content.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, with a natural talent for coaching and developing others.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and problem-solving capabilities, coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
