Forklift Co. Pty Ltd is a family-owned business specializing in forklift hire, service, and sales, located in Luscombe on the Gold Coast. We are seeking a dedicated and dependable Yard Hand/Workshop Assistant to become a valuable part of our expanding team.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough washing, detailing, and preparation of forklifts for both hire and sale.
• Ensure the yard and workshop areas are kept clean, orderly, and safe at all times.
• Provide general assistance to workshop technicians as needed.
• Manage the loading and unloading of equipment efficiently.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment to move them within the yard premises.
• Conduct preliminary inspections of equipment and promptly report any identified issues.
• Contribute to the smooth running of daily workshop and yard activities.

Requirements

• Demonstrate a strong work ethic and maintain a positive attitude.
• Exhibit reliability and punctuality in all aspects of the role.
• Possess the ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Be physically fit and comfortable with performing manual, hands-on tasks.
• Show a keen attention to detail and take pride in maintaining a well-organized workspace.
• A forklift license is advantageous but not mandatory.
• A current driver's license is essential for this position.
