About the Company
Scale AI helps governments adopt artificial intelligence with confidence. The focus is not only on rolling out technology, but also on making sure it is trusted, clearly understood, and put to effective use. The company is creating a capability that blends enablement, change management, and AI fluency to support large-scale national transformation efforts.
Role Overview
This is a senior individual contributor role responsible for building and scaling the learning system that supports GenAI adoption among public sector audiences. The position has three core priorities: shaping the learning strategy and course portfolio, operating the platform that delivers learning at national scale, and representing Scale AI’s learning expertise in the regional AI discussion.
The central objective is adoption. The learning content is designed specifically to help government teams move toward Scale AI’s deployed use cases, making this role the connection between building AI capability in the public sector and driving real-world use of that capability.
This role sits at the top of the adoption funnel. The credibility built in direct interactions and in public-facing forums helps open the door to deeper partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Learning system ownership
- Set the LMS direction, choose the platform, and oversee rollout, including certification and digital badging, so it can serve as a scalable foundation for national delivery.
- Build and manage the course portfolio, ensuring it develops AI fluency and intentionally guides audiences toward the use cases supported by Scale AI.
- Create and launch flagship learning offerings, starting with an expanded foundational AI literacy program that can be adapted for different audiences and markets.
- Develop a measurement approach that connects learning activity to adoption results rather than relying only on completion metrics.
Scale across geographies
- Adapt programs for different markets with localization planned from the outset, including language, institutional context, and cultural expectations.
- Establish repeatable delivery models so programs can expand without having to be rebuilt for every new market.
- Work with delivery vendors and national training institutions where local implementation requires external partners.
Teach and represent
- Lead high-visibility workshops and briefings for public sector stakeholders at every level, from operational teams to senior leadership.
- Explain technical GenAI ideas in ways that are accessible to non-technical audiences, using real technical understanding rather than scripted explanations.
- Coordinate with marketing and events teams on speaker sessions, events, and public-facing initiatives that strengthen Scale AI’s profile in the regional AI learning space.
Candidate Profile
You should bring substantial experience in learning and development, instructional design, or enablement, along with proven ownership of a learning function, platform, or large-scale program. Experience with government or public sector stakeholders is strongly preferred.
The role calls for practical LMS leadership, meaning you have selected, launched, or scaled a platform rather than only producing content within one. You should also have a solid GenAI foundation that allows you to teach the subject directly and adjust your depth based on audience needs.
Experience scaling learning across countries or regions is important, especially where localization was designed deliberately rather than added later. The right person will see learning as a lever for adoption and will build programs that move people toward applying what they have learned.
Strong facilitation, executive presence, and confidence with senior government stakeholders and large mixed audiences are essential. Delivery in both Arabic and English is highly preferred. Comfort in fast-moving, ambiguous environments and a strong sense of ownership are also important.
It is a plus if you actively create AI-learning content on platforms such as LinkedIn or YouTube, as this signals familiarity with micro-learning and social-native formats rather than a personal branding requirement.
Early Success Criteria
First 6 months
- The LMS strategy is chosen and the core program is live, with certification or badging implemented.
- The course portfolio is defined, and the first programs are aligned to active use cases.
- Two audience tracks are delivered, with satisfaction feedback and early adoption indicators captured.
- At least one public-facing activity, such as a speaker session, event, or series, is delivered with marketing and events support.
By 12 months
- A working LMS ecosystem is operating across more than one market, with localization proven in practice.
- The course catalog is actively contributing to adoption of Scale AI’s use cases, with measurable pull-through.
- Public sector partners view Scale AI’s learning work as credible and effective.
- A repeatable enablement model is built into important engagements, supported by a measurement layer that links learning to adoption.
