Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, AI, or a closely related field.
- Experience through an internship, co-op, academic project, or personal project in software engineering, AI/ML, or backend development.
- Strong Python skills, with familiarity with libraries or frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
- Working knowledge of backend concepts including APIs, microservices, and databases.
- JavaScript, TypeScript, or Node.js exposure is considered an advantage.

- Interest in AI/ML tools, including LLMs and intelligent automation.
- Strong analytical thinking and a willingness to learn new technologies quickly.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Understanding of core software development practices such as testing, version control, and Agile methods.
Nice to Have
- Hands-on work in personal, academic, or hackathon projects involving AI or data platforms.
- Exposure to Docker, Git, Kafka, or cloud deployment processes.
- Background in data engineering, ETL workflows, or analytics systems.
- Interest in distributed systems or event-driven architectures.
- Involvement in open-source projects, technical clubs, or developer communities.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is CAD 60,000 to CAD 80,000 per year.
