Role Overview

This full-time, on-site Barista position is based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The role focuses on preparing and serving coffee and other beverages, supporting simple food preparation, and ensuring every item meets the company’s quality standards. You will interact with customers, take orders, process payments, and deliver courteous service throughout each guest interaction.

Key Duties

• Prepare and serve coffee and other beverages according to company procedures and quality expectations.
• Assist with basic food preparation and simple menu items as needed.
• Welcome guests, capture orders accurately, and handle billing and payment processing.
• Provide attentive, polite service and help maintain a positive customer experience.
• Keep the café, equipment, and workstations clean, organized, and hygienic.
• Replenish supplies and support smooth day-to-day store operations.
• Follow all safety, hygiene, and standard operating procedures.
• Work closely with teammates and help manage busy periods efficiently.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal abilities for engaging with guests and colleagues.
• Hands-on barista capability, including coffee preparation and basic beverage-making techniques.
• Clear communication skills for order taking, coordination, and responding to customer questions.
• Basic food preparation knowledge with attention to hygiene and safety practices.
• Previous exposure to a café, restaurant, or retail setting is an advantage.
• Comfortable standing for long stretches and handling fast-paced shifts.
• Basic numerical ability for cash handling, billing, and POS operations.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays, when needed.
