Role overview

This position is for a CAM Engineer responsible for creating and improving CNC machining processes using Unigraphics NX / Siemens NX tools. The role involves close coordination with other teams to align process planning with project needs, along with hands-on problem-solving for machining and manufacturing issues.

Key responsibilities

• Build and refine CNC machining workflows using Unigraphics NX software.
• Work with cross-functional teams to make sure process plans match project specifications.
• Prepare 3D models, engineering drawings, and manufacturing documentation.
• Diagnose CNC machine-related issues and apply corrective measures.
• Follow applicable industry standards and internal company procedures.

Candidate profile

• The employer is looking for someone with 4 to 9 years of experience in CAM engineering or a closely related area such as CNC or process planning.
• A Diploma, B.Tech, or B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institute is required.
• Hands-on expertise with Unigraphics NX is essential, and knowledge of Siemens NX is expected.
• The candidate should understand 5-axis machining, including tooling selection, tooling design, and setup.

Eligibility

Applicants should have a B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering, or a Diploma in a related mechanical discipline, along with relevant experience in CAM, CNC, or process planning.
