Role Summary
This is a full-time, on-site Car Buyer position in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The person in this role will assess used vehicles, carry out careful inspections, estimate market value, and present purchase offers that follow company policy. The job includes customer meetings at the central location, checking vehicle documents, road-testing cars when necessary, and explaining valuation outcomes and buying terms in a clear way. The role also covers negotiation inside approved pricing limits, closing purchases, arranging payment, completing transfer documentation, and working with the operations team to maintain accurate records and deliver professional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect used vehicles thoroughly and judge their condition, value, and suitability for purchase.
- Review market trends and apply company pricing rules when preparing offers.
- Meet customers at the designated Dubai location and guide them through the buying process.
- Check vehicle paperwork and verify the information needed for a lawful transaction.
- Test-drive vehicles when required to confirm condition and performance.
- Explain appraisal results, offer details, and transaction terms in a simple and professional manner.
- Negotiate prices within approved limits and support deal closure.
- Coordinate payment processing and ensure cash or transfer steps are completed correctly.
- Complete all paperwork and legal transfer requirements accurately.
- Work closely with the operations team and keep records up to date.
- Maintain a high standard of customer care and professional behavior at all times.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Good knowledge of cars, including inspection techniques, basic mechanical understanding, and awareness of the used-car market.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to listen well, earn trust, and address customer concerns professionally.
- Solid sales and negotiation capability, with the ability to close transactions while staying within pricing guidelines.
- Well-developed organizational skills and careful attention to documentation and legal paperwork.
- Comfort using digital tools such as online valuation systems, CRM software, and standard office applications.
- Previous exposure to car buying, automotive sales, or dealership work is an advantage.
- English fluency is mandatory; additional languages commonly used in Dubai are helpful.
- Willingness to work full time on site, including flexible hours when required.
- Valid UAE driving license and a clean driving record.
