Role overview
This full-time Care Assistant position is based in Weybridge and involves providing person-centred support to customers in their own homes. The role focuses on preserving dignity, encouraging independence, and delivering help in line with agreed support plans between the customer and Caremark.
You will travel to customers’ homes and provide practical assistance that is comparable to the kind of support a family member might give. This may include personal care, help around the home, and support with everyday routines.
Key duties
- Assist customers with washing and dressing
- Support shopping trips and meal preparation
- Prompt customers to take prescribed medication
- Help maintain daily routines
- Provide respite support where needed
- Encourage social interaction and leisure activities
- Help customers stay connected with their local community
