What You’ll Do

You will work with operational and corporate teams to uncover improvement opportunities, implement practical changes, and strengthen the way the organisation works. The position focuses on increasing productivity, improving consistency, lifting service standards, strengthening compliance, and creating a better employee experience.

  • Promote and build a strong continuous improvement culture across the organisation.
  • Spot inefficiencies, process breakdowns, and areas where performance can be improved.
  • Drive improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, and structured problem-solving approaches.
  • Run root-cause analysis sessions and facilitate cross-functional workshops.
  • Work alongside operational leaders to deliver solutions that are realistic and sustainable.
  • Track project delivery and measure the benefits achieved.

Training and Capability Building

  • Deliver training sessions on continuous improvement practices throughout the business.
  • Create learning resources, SOPs, process notes, and user-friendly guides.
  • Lead workshops, toolbox talks, and development sessions to build capability.
  • Increase understanding of Lean principles and operational excellence methods.
  • Maintain dashboards that monitor training progress and capability development.

Coaching and Support

  • Coach teams in the use of Lean and Six Sigma tools and techniques.
  • Support project teams in planning, monitoring, and sustaining improvements.
  • Encourage knowledge exchange and ongoing learning across the organisation.

Process Standardisation

  • Create and update process maps, standard operating procedures, and work instructions.
  • Support standardisation efforts across different teams and operational sites.
  • Keep documentation accurate and aligned as processes change.

Automation and Innovation

  • Assist with automation, digital transformation, RPA, and AI-enabled improvement work.
  • Partner with operations and technology teams to improve efficiency through systems and tools.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should bring solid experience in operational improvement, strong engagement skills, and a genuine drive to support sustainable change.

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification is required.
  • At least 5 years of experience in continuous improvement, operational excellence, or process improvement.
  • Strong background in process mapping, documentation, and SOP creation.
  • Proven ability to facilitate workshops and work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in shipping, logistics, supply chain, warehousing, or transport is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong analytical ability, problem-solving skills, and good organisational discipline.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel when needed.
