Role overview
We are seeking a seasoned, target-oriented Country Manager to drive business expansion and sales performance in the solar inverter and battery energy storage system (BESS) market. The role calls for someone with a strong background in renewable energy, deep familiarity with PV inverters and storage solutions, and hands-on experience building local channels and partnerships.
What you will do
- Plan and implement go-to-market and sales initiatives for PV inverter and BESS offerings to expand revenue and market presence.
- Develop and oversee local sales networks, working with distributors, EPC firms, installers, system integrators, and strategic accounts.
- Spot and pursue growth opportunities across residential, commercial & industrial (C&I), and utility-scale solar plus storage segments.
- Strengthen relationships with customers, channel partners, and other influential stakeholders in the industry.
- Track market movements, competitor actions, and regulatory or policy updates to inform commercial strategy.
- Own the sales funnel end to end, including prospecting, deal discussions, forecasting, and delivery against targets.
- Collaborate with technical, product, and marketing functions to enable partners, run campaigns, and adapt products for the local market.
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry forums, and customer-facing meetings.
What we are looking for
- A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Business, or a closely related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in PV inverters, BESS, solar energy, or a similar power electronics environment.
- Demonstrated success in channel expansion, distributor leadership, and key account selling.
- Strong knowledge of PV systems, inverter technology, energy storage solutions, and local market conditions.
- A well-established network with distributors, EPCs, installers, developers, or storage partners is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and business development capabilities.
- Comfort working independently and traveling often for business requirements.
Additional information
This position is based in Thailand and is a full-time, onsite role.
