Role overview
This position focuses on end-to-end support for customer order fulfillment. The goal is to receive customer order details, review them for completeness and accuracy, process them promptly, and help ensure every requirement is handled correctly so that service quality and customer satisfaction remain high.
What you will do
- Act as the main contact for domestic and export purchase orders received by email, checking details and entering orders according to the established procedures.
- Manage the full inquiry and order-handling flow, including delivery instructions and shipment tracking, while also coordinating with the business on accounts receivable collection.
- Track open orders and take action when needed to help ensure delivery happens on or before the promised date.
- Take ownership of customer service requests, including order amendments and related queries, aiming for first-contact resolution whenever possible and escalating issues quickly to the right teams when required.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through consistently professional service and close coordination with the sales team to support customer satisfaction.
- Work with internal and external partners such as Sales, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, and outside warehouses to make sure customer needs are understood and commitments are met.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and legal requirements, and escalate any policy gaps or exceptions to management as appropriate.
- Provide coverage for teammates when needed to support smooth day-to-day operations.
- Share sales-related data with the business, including order volume versus forecast volume.
- Serve as a key contact for the SAP Order-to-Cash module on behalf of the supporting business.
Required profile
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including phone and listening abilities, with the confidence to build effective internal and external working relationships.
- Good command of English.
- Ability to use business systems and office tools, including SAP, SFDC, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Comfortable working professionally with customers as well as multiple internal teams and functions.
- High attention to detail and a consistently accurate approach to work.
- Self-driven, positive, and proactive in attitude.
- Ability to contribute to productivity improvement efforts and value-creation initiatives.
- Prior experience in customer service or order fulfillment is preferred.
- Background in supply chain is an advantage.
