Data Analyst

About the Role

Capgemini is hiring a proactive and detail-focused Data Analyst who can support data operations through incident handling, monitoring, and root cause analysis. The position is centered on keeping data platforms reliable, quickly resolving issues, and improving operational performance. In this role, you will connect technical data operations with business teams to help maintain data integrity and support ongoing improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Use monitoring tools to keep an eye on data pipelines and systems so operations continue without disruption.
• Respond to and resolve data-related incidents within expected timeframes.
• Investigate failures and data problems through thorough root cause analysis.
• Work with engineering and business stakeholders to troubleshoot inconsistencies and close issues.
• Maintain records of incident patterns, repeated problems, and resolution results.
• Put preventive steps in place to help reduce repeat incidents and improve stability.
• Assist with data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance activities.
• Document incident details, RCA outcomes, and corrective actions clearly and completely.
• Take part in Agile meetings and contribute to continuous improvement work.

Skills and Experience

The role calls for hands-on knowledge of incident management, monitoring platforms, and root cause analysis. Familiarity with data quality work, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement practices is important. Exposure to a business domain such as custody or AML is considered an advantage, as is prior experience working in Agile environments.

Compensation

The posted base pay range for this position is USD 60,000 to 65,000 per year. Final compensation may vary depending on factors such as location, education, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, market conditions, and internal pay considerations. The role may also be eligible for additional variable pay such as bonuses, incentives, or commissions, subject to applicable law and plan terms.
