Delivery Driver

Role overview

Join Dreams as a Delivery Driver and help deliver a smooth, customer-focused service. You will be responsible for getting each customer’s bed delivered safely and professionally, while representing the brand in a positive way at every doorstep.

What you will do

• Drive a 3.5-tonne van with an assistant and complete home deliveries with a strong customer-first mindset.
• Handle and deliver items such as mattresses, sofa beds, and furniture; the vehicles are pre-loaded to support the work.
• Show professional, friendly conduct while representing Dreams during every customer interaction.
• Use training provided by the company to assemble bedroom furniture in customers’ homes.
• Go beyond basic delivery by building rapport and offering a high standard of service.

Working pattern and pay

• Pay is £15.59 per hour, with the opportunity to receive a discretionary monthly bonus.
• The contract is for 38.75 hours per week.
• Working includes alternate Saturdays and does not include Sundays.

Who the employer is looking for

• A confident driver with a valid UK driving licence, fewer than 6 penalty points, and experience handling a 3.5-tonne vehicle or something similar.
• Someone comfortable with heavy goods installation and assembly; home delivery experience is an advantage.
• A flexible candidate who can work varied hours, including Saturdays.
