What the expeditor does

The expeditor connects the kitchen and the guest experience. This person helps make sure orders are completed promptly, prepared to Nando’s standards, and delivered to the correct customer. The role also includes assembling and packing take-out orders, serving as the last point of contact for that guest group, and helping create a smooth, welcoming service flow.

Successful expeditors stay organized, work efficiently, and maintain a professional, courteous, and dependable approach. They act as a fast-moving but friendly guide for guests and support the team in delivering the Nando’s experience and meeting customer expectations.

Minimum qualifications

• Comfort working under direction and contributing effectively in a team-based environment
• Ability to stay composed and perform well when the pace and pressure increase
• Strong commitment to service quality and familiarity with food and beverage basics
• Working knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food-handling practices
• Basic English communication skills and a professional manner

Physical demands

• Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs independently for extended periods
• Requires standing, walking, and climbing stairs while carrying food and dishes throughout the shift
• Ability to remain on your feet for 8 to 10 hours per day
• Good hand-eye coordination
• Frequent reaching, bending, twisting, and stooping
• Ability to push and pull items as needed
• Capability to lift items overhead
• Must be able to use stairs in locations with multiple levels
