About the Role

The Dad Shift is looking for a motivated fresher-level data analyst to join its team in a full-time, entry/junior role based in Australia. This opportunity is designed for recent graduates and early-career candidates who want to build practical experience in working with business data, supporting reporting needs, and turning raw information into useful insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather data from different sources, keep it organized, and maintain it properly.
• Review datasets, remove errors, and check for consistency and accuracy.
• Help create reports, dashboards, and visual displays for stakeholders.
• Study data to spot trends, recurring patterns, and business opportunities.
• Assist with building and maintaining databases and reporting workflows.
• Work with colleagues to understand business needs and analytical goals.
• Carry out routine quality checks and contribute ideas for improving processes.
• Record data procedures, analysis methods, and key findings clearly.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business, or a similar discipline.
• Basic knowledge of data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence concepts.
• Working familiarity with Microsoft Excel and data handling methods.
• Exposure to SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or comparable tools is helpful.
• Strong logical thinking and problem-solving ability.
• Careful attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Prior internship exposure, academic projects, or related coursework can help, though they are not mandatory.
