About the Company
Remitbee is a fast-growing fintech company headquartered in Canada. The team is looking for a full stack developer who is enthusiastic about technology, motivated by meaningful work, and interested in helping build innovative products in a collaborative environment.

Role Overview
The position is for a full-time full stack developer with at least 3 years of experience, with hands-on exposure to both backend and frontend development.
What You Will Be Doing
- Contributing within an agile product team that includes developers, QA, DevOps, and founders.
- Building new systems and modernizing older ones using current technologies to meet evolving business needs.
- Investigating business and technical requirements and comparing possible solution paths before recommending suitable designs and tools.
- Creating and maintaining test cases as part of development work.
- Taking part in, or leading, the complete software development lifecycle from analysis and design through coding, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
Skills and Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years of experience working with backend technologies such as Node.js and Express.
- Practical experience with databases and ORM tools including SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Sequelize.
- Exposure to frontend development tools and frameworks such as React JS, Next JS, and Material UI.
- Familiarity with automation tools like Grunt or Gulp.
- Ability to follow solid engineering practices such as test-driven development, integration testing, version control, release management, and estimation/planning.
- Experience integrating and working with APIs, including REST, GraphQL, or SOAP.
- Working knowledge of Git.
- Strong focus on code quality, with testing and documentation built into the normal workflow.
- Open-source contribution experience is an advantage.
- Good communication skills, self-motivation, and a willingness to learn and collaborate.
