Role Overview

Aramark Canada is hiring a General Utility Worker in North Bay, Ontario. In this role, you will help keep the food service and work areas clean, safe, and well maintained while supporting day-to-day operations. Key Responsibilities

• Keep dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glassware, kitchen tools, and other equipment thoroughly cleaned and sanitized to support guest satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness in the dishwashing area, including the three-compartment sink and nearby spaces.
• Check that equipment remains clean and functional, and report any problems to management.
• Carry out light custodial duties and basic maintenance tasks as needed.
• Deliver courteous service and maintain a positive, professional attitude with guests, customers, clients, and coworkers.
• Follow Aramark’s food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Protect company property and ensure security of assets.
• Be prepared for duties to change or expand based on business needs, sometimes without prior notice.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of sanitation practices.
• Ability to follow safety rules when working around hazardous cleaning chemicals.
• Availability to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends.
• Comfort with physical work such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, walking, and standing for long periods.
• May be required to wear a uniform and use personal protective equipment.
