Role overview
Culligan Home provides residential water treatment solutions throughout Ireland, including filtration systems, reverse osmosis units, and water softeners. The business is looking for an accomplished and commercially minded General Manager to take charge of its household (B2C) operations in Ireland.
This leadership position carries end-to-end responsibility for revenue expansion, operational results, customer satisfaction, and people management. The role reports to the Managing Director and is part of the Ireland Leadership Team, where it will help define and execute the company’s growth plan.
Commercial performance
- Hold full accountability for revenue, margin, and cost management.
- Grow the business across direct sales, telesales, digital, and partner-led channels.
- Raise customer spend through upselling, cross-selling, and retention initiatives.
Customer and growth strategy
- Own the full customer journey, from first acquisition through retention and reactivation.
- Strengthen the customer experience at every interaction point.
- Improve retention, lower churn, and increase customer lifetime value.
Operational excellence
- Manage field service, installation, and logistics activities.
- Improve routing, scheduling, and delivery efficiency.
- Maintain strong service quality, responsiveness, and cost discipline.
Sales and marketing leadership
- Guide the B2C sales approach across field, contact centre, and digital channels.
- Work closely with marketing to improve lead generation and conversion rates.
- Ensure disciplined pipeline management and consistent performance tracking.
People leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop a strong cross-functional team.
- Build capability, engagement, and accountability across a largely field-based workforce.
- Promote a culture focused on performance, collaboration, and ongoing improvement.
Strategic leadership
- Contribute to the wider business strategy as a member of the Ireland Leadership Team.
- Turn strategic priorities into practical plans for the B2C business.
- Support a unified “One Culligan” mindset across teams and functions.
Employment terms
This is a full-time permanent role, subject to a six-month probation period. The position is based in Claregalway, County Galway, Ireland. A Monday to Friday working pattern applies, and a hybrid working model is offered.
