Role Overview
Dalata Hotel Group is seeking an accomplished hospitality leader to take charge of a hotel operation in Sligo. This position is suited to someone who thrives on accountability, team leadership, and commercial performance. The successful candidate will help define the hotel’s culture, guide operational direction, and support business growth while ensuring guests receive consistently excellent service.
You will be responsible for steering daily operations, strengthening standards across the property, and creating an environment where people perform well and develop professionally. The role combines guest experience, financial management, strategic planning, and team leadership in a busy hotel setting.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage all hotel operations while making sure company policies and standards are consistently followed.
- Guide the senior management team and broader hotel team toward strong operational performance.
- Build a service-led culture that delivers memorable guest experiences.
- Shape and execute long-term plans that support growth, profitability, and sustainability.
- Use financial insight, budgets, and forecasts to improve overall hotel results.
- Create a positive workplace that supports employee development, engagement, and retention.
- Maintain full compliance with health, safety, and other regulatory obligations.
Candidate Profile
- Must have either 2 to 3 years of experience as a General Manager or 4 to 5 years as a Deputy General Manager in a busy hotel environment with a strong room-focused strategy.
- Solid knowledge of hotel operations, financial control, and current industry trends is essential.
- Should have a proven record of building and delivering strategies that improve guest satisfaction and revenue.
- Strong leadership ability, with experience developing teams and managing performance.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across all levels of an organisation.
- Commercially minded, with experience managing large budgets, revenue streams, and costs.
- High service standards, especially in Food & Beverage and guest relations.
- A genuine interest in hospitality and a commitment to continuous improvement.
