Busy Bees is looking for a Housekeeper to help keep its Gateshead nursery clean, safe, and welcoming for children, families, and staff. The role supports the day-to-day hygiene standards that help create a pleasant learning and care environment.

Nursery Location

The Gateshead QE nursery holds an Ofsted rating of Good and has space for 108 children. It is well connected by public transport, with a bus route linking to Newcastle city centre, easy access from the A1 and Durham, a stop nearby, Low Fell town centre within walking distance, and a main-road location. Complimentary parking is available on site.

What You’ll Do

• Work alongside the nursery team to maintain a consistently high standard of cleanliness and hygiene across the nursery.
• Follow all health and safety procedures carefully while carrying out cleaning duties.

• No formal qualifications are needed for this position.
• Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping is preferred.
• A strong eye for detail and the ability to keep hygiene standards high.
