Housekeeper

Role Overview

St. Giles Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is looking for a reliable Housekeeper to help maintain a safe, sanitary, and comfortable setting for residents, employees, and guests. This role is important to the day-to-day cleanliness and overall atmosphere of the facility. Success in this position requires dependability, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work well with others in a busy environment.

Key Responsibilities

As part of this role, you will keep resident and common areas clean and orderly, make sure essential supplies are replenished, and interact courteously with residents, visitors, and staff.

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms and facility spaces, including bathrooms, bedrooms, hallways, and shared areas by scrubbing, mopping, buffing, polishing, dusting, and disinfecting.
• Replace and restock paper goods, soap, and other routine supplies as needed.
• Maintain a respectful, welcoming presence while communicating with residents, visitors, and coworkers each day.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate is organized, trustworthy, comfortable handling multiple tasks in a fast-moving setting, and able to meet the physical demands of the job. A sincere concern for older adults and people with disabilities is also important.

Physical Requirements

This position involves extended periods of standing and walking, along with lifting and other physical activity throughout the shift.
