What You Will Do
- Put HSSE compliance into practice by aligning warehouse and data centre activities with German legal requirements, internal standards, and client-specific expectations.
- Carry out inspections, safety rounds, and audits, and follow up on corrective and preventive measures after identifying risks.
- Coordinate operational safety topics connected to logistics work such as material handling, loading, transportation, and contractor oversight.
- Lead safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions while encouraging an open mindset focused on learning and improvement.
- Review incidents and near misses, monitor KPIs, and turn findings into clear action plans that improve HSSE performance over time.
What We Are Looking For
- A degree, Meister, Techniker qualification, or comparable professional training in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Logistics, Environmental Management, or a similar technical area.
- Relevant professional experience in HSSE/EHS, preferably gained in logistics, industrial, construction, or data centre settings.
- Strong practical knowledge of risk assessments, audits, incident investigations, and German regulations such as DGUV.
- Very good spoken and written English skills for work in an international environment.
- A structured, communicative, and proactive approach, with a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to positively influence safety culture.
