Role overview
This Human Resources Supervisor position is based in Doha, Qatar and sits within the Human Resources function. It is a full-time, non-management role with no remote work arrangement.
What you will do
You will support day-to-day HR operations by monitoring employee relations matters, helping resolve issues, and following up on outcomes. The role involves assisting leaders and management with HR-related concerns, ensuring recruitment and hiring steps comply with applicable local, state, federal, and company requirements, and sharing relevant HR information with employees and managers.
In addition, you will help maintain accurate employee files and records, support the logistics and scheduling of annual employee surveys, and handle incoming phone calls and messages. You will also assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluation, counseling, discipline, coaching, and employee motivation.
Compliance and workplace expectations
You are expected to follow company, safety, and security procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions; and protect confidential information. The role also requires professional communication, courteous interaction with guests, strong teamwork, and the ability to enter and retrieve information through computer systems and/or point-of-sale tools.
Physical duties may include moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or placing objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance. Other reasonable duties may be assigned by supervisors as needed.
Required background
The preferred educational qualification is a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Candidates should have at least 1 year of related work experience and at least 1 year of supervisory experience. No license or certification is required.
