Light Driver

Job summary

This role involves operating a light vehicle to move people, parcels, or documents safely and in line with road rules and company procedures. The position calls for strong punctuality, a dependable approach, and familiarity with routine vehicle care.

Responsibilities

• Operate a light vehicle to transport employees, customers, or materials in a safe manner.
• Complete pickups and deliveries according to the assigned timetable.
• Comply with traffic regulations, safety standards, and internal driving guidelines.
• Keep the assigned vehicle tidy, adequately fueled, and roadworthy.
• Carry out simple vehicle inspections such as checking oil, water, tires, and brakes.
• Immediately report accidents, damage, or any mechanical concern.
• Record trips and deliveries accurately in the required logs.
• Support loading and unloading tasks when needed.

Requirements and qualifications

• A valid license for driving light vehicles is required.
• Prior experience in a light driving role is an advantage.
• Strong familiarity with local streets, routes, and traffic regulations.
• Ability to navigate using maps and GPS-based applications.
• Must be physically fit and open to flexible working hours when necessary.
• Good communication skills along with solid time management.
• A trustworthy, dependable, and professional manner is essential.
