Role overviewThe Machinist role at Aptiv involves running machines and producing tooling components according to specified drawing measurements. The position calls for practical shop-floor expertise, accuracy in fabrication, and the ability to maintain consistent output while working to technical requirements.Core responsibilitiesOperate machine tools to manufacture tooling parts that match the dimensions shown in engineering drawings.Interpret technical drawings correctly and translate them into accurate machining work.Work with machining tools while applying suitable cutting speeds and feed settings.Carry out basic machine upkeep and handle simple troubleshooting when issues arise.Required experience and qualificationCandidates should have at least 4 years of relevant experience.
