Role overview

The Land Transport Authority is hiring a Manager, Intelligence to support detection and prevention work through timely, relevant analysis of breaches related to the Road Traffic Act, other legislation overseen by LTA, and the subsidiary laws connected to them. The position focuses on gathering and strengthening information, researching issues, and turning findings into intelligence that can support informed decisions.

Key responsibilities

In this role, you will work with large and varied datasets to identify patterns, connect related information, and generate practical intelligence outputs. Your work will involve the use of statistical methods, visualisation tools, and data analytics techniques to surface trends and relationships. You will also collaborate with external agencies and look into new technologies that can improve analytics capabilities and make intelligence workflows more efficient.

Candidate profile

The role is open to candidates from any academic background, provided they have relevant experience in intelligence or analytical functions. The ideal applicant should be principled, proactive, curious, imaginative, and able to work well with limited guidance. Comfort with a fast-moving and demanding environment is important.

You should also be able to communicate clearly in both spoken and written form. Strong research ability is required to collect meaningful information, apply suitable analytical methods, and translate findings into insights, recommendations, and conclusions. You will need to assess issues from multiple angles, challenge assumptions logically, and build sound evaluations.
