Role Overview
Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) is seeking a Marketing Manager to support the Retail Banking Group. This role focuses on leading marketing communications, building and executing campaigns, shaping digital marketing plans, and coordinating media and strategic initiatives to strengthen customer engagement, improve return on investment, and build stronger brand recognition.
The Retail Banking Group serves retail and micro-business customers with advice and a broad range of conventional and Shari’ah-compliant banking products and services. The group is driven by digital innovation and a commitment to service excellence, and this position contributes to that mission by working with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver effective marketing outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently own marketing communications and campaign delivery across assigned business areas.
- Create and manage digital marketing plans, media initiatives, and other strategic activities in coordination with key stakeholders.
- Lead marketing projects through to completion while maintaining required standards and maximizing returns from the budget.
- Maintain and track marketing calendars for customer accounts and compare planned activity against actual execution.
- Follow all standard operating procedures from briefing and approvals through budgeting, media planning, traffic management, and on-time execution.
- Work with business stakeholders to understand challenges and deliver campaigns that support their objectives.
- Develop strategic marketing plans and calendars for new business initiatives.
- Oversee marketing activity end to end, including planning, agency briefing, traffic control, reviews, internal approvals, production, and media planning aligned to business goals and budgets.
- Manage digital projects and ensure they are delivered according to process and timeline requirements.
- Shape social media strategy and improve the design, content, and conversion performance of the bank’s website and digital tools.
- Ensure approvals are secured before production begins and that quality and delivery timelines are met.
- Provide weekly updates to the head of department and chief marketing officer, including campaign performance data, cost savings, media reports, marketing spend, and competitor tracking.
- Coordinate with approved suppliers to deliver marketing activity cost-effectively while preserving creative quality and brand standards.
- Monitor advertising and promotion budgets allocated to product programmes.
- Lead and support team members in accordance with bank policies, procedures, and people management practices.
- Organize and supervise team workload to meet objectives and deliver business plans on time.
- Implement departmental policies and ensure employees follow required processes and service standards.
- Encourage team participation in change initiatives, programs, and projects.
- Consistently apply the bank’s service standards and internal promise in all customer and stakeholder interactions.
Candidate Profile
The role calls for a professional with at least 6 years of experience in a comparable position within a respected organization. Experience in product development and the digital journey of a product is required. The ideal candidate should hold a university degree in Business or Marketing and bring strong planning, analytical, and time management capabilities. Excellent written and spoken English communication skills are needed, along with solid Microsoft Office proficiency.
Compensation and Benefits
The expected salary range for this role is AED 24,500 to AED 36,500 per month. Employees are also eligible for variable pay plans.
