Team Overview
The UAE Operations function plays a central role in ensuring reliable delivery for partners and customers across the region. Working closely with Sales, Finance, Procurement, and Customer Service, the team keeps products moving efficiently in a fast-growing, multicultural business environment. In this role, you will help strengthen warehouse and logistics execution across Dubai and support Ingram Micro’s position as a preferred partner in the Middle East and beyond.
Role Summary
As Operations Manager – Warehouse & Logistics, you will oversee end-to-end warehouse and logistics activity at a busy multinational site in Dubai. Your work will have a direct impact on service quality, operational reliability, and the company’s regional growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct daily warehouse and logistics functions, including inbound, outbound, and inventory processes, while maintaining safe, compliant, and high-quality operations.
- Guide, mentor, and develop supervisors and frontline team members, strengthening accountability and continuous learning across the operation.
- Introduce and lead process-improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methods to raise productivity and reduce waste.
- Oversee operating and capital budgets, with a strong focus on cost control, return on investment, and sustainable financial performance.
- Work with Finance, Sales, Procurement, and Customer Service to ensure operational plans support wider business goals and delivery commitments.
- Manage third-party logistics partners and external vendors, making sure performance meets agreed service levels and standards.
- Use warehouse management systems, ERP platforms, and reporting tools to improve visibility, support decisions, and track performance.
What You Bring
- About 8 years of experience leading warehouse and logistics operations, preferably in a regional or multinational distribution setting.
- A strong record of managing large, diverse teams that include supervisors and frontline staff, especially through growth and change.
- Hands-on experience handling third-party logistics relationships, inventory control, and compliance in a regulated, fast-moving environment.
- Confidence using WMS, ERP systems, and digital productivity tools, along with data and reporting platforms for operational analysis.
- A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related discipline; an MBA, CSCP, or an equivalent certification is considered an advantage.
