Role overview
AIQU is looking for an experienced Oracle XStore Developer to join a contract assignment in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on building, extending, and supporting Oracle Retail POS solutions, with close involvement in integrations, technical design, and release support.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop Oracle XStore extensions, custom services, and integration components.
- Implement and maintain integrations across XStore, SIOCS, and RDS.
- Create processes for extracting, transforming, and validating data.
- Review SI partner deliverables and ensure code quality and governance standards are met.
- Support POS customizations, including user interface enhancements, business logic changes, and integration services.
- Troubleshoot and fix defects identified during SIT and UAT, including performance-related issues.
- Assist with go-live readiness, cutover support, and hypercare activities.
- Work with solution architects to shape technical design and implementation decisions.
Required skills and experience
- Hands-on Oracle XStore POS development experience on version 21 or later.
- Experience with Oracle SIOCS and SIM APIs and services.
- Working knowledge of Oracle Retail Data Store (RDS).
- Strong programming background in Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
- Ability to work with REST and SOAP services, along with XML and JSON payloads.
- Proficiency in Oracle SQL and Git.
- Exposure to Oracle APEX, ADF, JET, OIC, ODI, and OBIEE.
- Understanding of the POS transaction lifecycle, including sales, returns, tenders, and refunds.
- 7 to 10+ years of software development experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in Oracle Retail or POS implementations.
- Strong retail domain knowledge and system integration experience.
Additional information
This is a contract position based onsite in Jeddah. The role is centered on Oracle Retail environments and requires close coordination with internal teams and SI partners to deliver stable, high-quality POS solutions.
