Role Overview
This is a remote role for a Product Manager who will help define and evolve a veterinary software product area. The position focuses on turning customer needs, user behavior, and market intelligence into a clear product direction and a practical roadmap. You will work closely with Engineering, Design, QA, and other internal teams to deliver solutions that improve efficiency for veterinary practices and support company growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Turn customer feedback and market research into product direction, roadmap items, and well-prioritized initiatives.
- Run discovery work by speaking with customers, studying workflows, reviewing product usage, and converting insights into opportunities.
- Create precise product requirement documents and collaborate with Engineering, QA, and Design to deliver solutions.
- Weigh customer value, technical constraints, and business goals to make informed trade-offs and keep work focused on the highest-impact items.
- Set success measures for assigned product areas and track results after launch to support ongoing improvements.
- Use product analytics, market trends, and competitive intelligence to guide roadmap choices.
- Work with Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing to support launches and promote adoption of new features.
- Act as the main knowledge source for the product line, communicating strategy, scope, and priorities across the organization.
Candidate Profile
- At least 3 years of product management experience, ideally in an early-stage, entrepreneurial SaaS or cloud software environment.
- Strong grasp of product management methods and agile ways of working.
- Proven ability to build a strategic roadmap, gain stakeholder alignment, and move major initiatives from idea to release.
- Comfort working independently while also partnering effectively with cross-functional teams.
- A customer-centric mindset with the ability to understand user pain points and align teams around real use cases.
- Strong problem-solving ability and comfort operating in uncertain or changing situations.
- Ability to juggle several workstreams while staying focused on business outcomes rather than just deliverables.
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to tailor context for engineers, customers, and executives.
- A growth mindset and a willingness to keep learning, improving, and encouraging others to do the same.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $120,000 to $150,000 per year, with final pay based on skills, qualifications, and experience.
- Supportive and caring workplace culture.
- Transparent, honest, and empathetic communication inside and outside the company.
- Medical, dental, and vision coverage.
- 401(k) plan with company match.
- Flexible approach to work and time off, including time for innovation and Flow State Fridays.
- Generous stipend that can be used for almost anything to help you do your best work.
