Role Summary
This full-time, on-site role in Dammam is responsible for managing day-to-day production activities so that safety, quality, and delivery goals are consistently achieved. The position requires close coordination with maintenance, quality assurance, and logistics teams to keep operations running smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
The Production Manager will organize production plans and schedules, assign manpower effectively, and keep a close watch on performance indicators. The role also includes improving the use of resources, introducing continuous improvement measures to lower costs and increase output, and handling operational challenges as they arise.
In addition, the manager will ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards, communicate progress and results to senior leadership, and work with cross-functional stakeholders to meet customer expectations and support long-term operational performance.
Qualifications and Requirements
Candidates should have proven experience managing production activities, including planning, scheduling, and supervising manufacturing or industrial work. Strong capability in process improvement, lean practices, 5S, Kaizen, and cost management is important.
The role also calls for familiarity with production management software and ERP or manufacturing systems used to monitor output, stock, and performance metrics. A sound understanding of quality management principles is needed, along with the ability to manage quality checks and address nonconformities.
Applicants must also be well-versed in health, safety, and environmental regulations and should have a demonstrated record of maintaining safe and compliant working practices. Leadership, coaching, performance management, and conflict resolution skills are essential, as is the ability to communicate effectively with operations, logistics, maintenance, and senior management teams.
A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related discipline is required, and advanced certifications in production or operations management are considered an advantage. Experience in industrial, manufacturing, logistics, or similar sectors within the GCC region is preferred.
