Role overview
Xeinadin’s Cork office is expanding, and the team is seeking a Qualified Accountant to support a varied SME client portfolio from the Blackpool hub. This permanent position is suited to a practice-trained accounting professional with at least two years of post-qualification experience. The role covers accounting, tax, and compliance work, and reports directly to a Partner.
You will be expected to deliver accurate client work, maintain high service standards, meet deadlines, and assist junior colleagues where required.

Key responsibilities
- Prepare company financial statements for non-audit clients, as well as sole traders and partnerships, up to partner review stage while meeting all relevant compliance and regulatory obligations.
- Complete and submit Corporation Tax and Income Tax returns.
- Handle the preparation, review, and filing of VAT, RCT, and PAYE returns.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of CRO filings and associated documentation.
- Support, guide, and develop junior team members through mentoring and day-to-day assistance.
- Maintain strong client relationships by communicating clearly and taking a proactive, practical, and solution-led approach.
Requirements
- 2 to 3 years of experience in general accountancy practice.
- ACA or ACCA qualification.
- Strong working knowledge of accounting standards.
- Experience supervising or mentoring junior team members, with an ability to help drive performance and results.
- Comfort working within professional regulations and best-practice frameworks while maintaining a high standard of client service.
- Self-driven, detail-focused, and able to adapt to changing business needs.

This is an office-based role. The salary is described as competitive.
