Role overview
Higgins Wellington has won a new contract with Wellington City Council to deliver road maintenance work, and the team is expanding. They are looking for labourers to join the Wellington crew on a permanent basis.
What the role involves
- Carry out labouring duties connected to civil construction and road maintenance activities.
- Work as part of a crew supporting the Wellington City Council road maintenance contract.
- Be prepared to work on an on-call roster when required.
What you should bring
- A Class 1 driver licence is required.
- A Class 2 licence and WTR endorsement are an advantage.
- Previous exposure to civil construction or road maintenance is preferred.
- Being familiar with RAMM would help, although it is not essential.
- You need to be dependable, adaptable, and willing to work in all weather conditions.
