Role overview
TPI Global Solutions is hiring a Scrum Master II to guide Agile teams, strengthen Lean-Agile practices, improve delivery flow, and help teams deliver dependable, high-quality outcomes. This contract role is based in Atlanta, GA and follows a hybrid schedule with 2 days on site. The assignment runs for a set number of months and may be extended or converted depending on performance and budget. The ideal candidate should also bring AI exposure along with change management experience.
What you will do
- Lead core Scrum activities such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Contribute to larger Agile planning and coordination efforts, including cross-team alignment, dependency handling, and synchronized delivery.
- Work closely with Product Owners to keep the backlog organized and support quarterly, release, and sprint planning cycles.
- Coach teams toward stronger self-management, ownership, and continuous improvement.
- Clear blockers by coordinating with stakeholders, leadership, and other internal teams.
- Monitor delivery status, risks, dependencies, and team performance indicators, then share updates clearly.
- Encourage psychological safety, teamwork, and accountability across the group.
- Support teams in defining and improving working agreements, Definition of Ready, and Definition of Done.
- Increase visibility through Agile metrics and information radiators.
What we are looking for
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience working as a Scrum Master.
- Practical knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and Agile scaling methods, with SAFe being a plus.
- A bachelor’s degree, ideally in Information Technology or a closely related discipline.
- Scrum Master certification such as CSM, PSM, or an equivalent credential is preferred.
- Strong written, spoken, and interpersonal communication skills, including virtual collaboration through Microsoft Teams.
- A growth-oriented mindset and the willingness to act on feedback.
- Must be based in the Atlanta, Georgia area.
