Location and work model

This is a work-from-office role based in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The schedule follows a 5-day in-office work pattern. The office is located at 2nd Floor, Salarpuria Sapphire, 14, Hosur Road, Adugodi, Bengaluru, Karnataka - 560030.

Role summary

The company is seeking a technically strong Software Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Linux, and DevSecOps practices. The position will contribute to application patching, automation efforts, platform upkeep, and ongoing improvements to engineering and operations workflows.

The role also involves deploying application changes, creating automation solutions, exploring relevant open-source technologies, and finding ways to improve reliability, security, and efficiency across systems.

Responsibilities

• Handle application patch deployment and support software update activities.
• Build and maintain automation solutions to reduce manual operational effort.
• Contribute to platform maintenance and steady improvement of operational processes.
• Research open-source tools and technologies that may improve the environment.
• Identify and implement improvements that strengthen system reliability, security, and performance.
• Support CI/CD workflows and related deployment activities.
• Assist with monitoring, logging, and general application support tasks.

Technical requirements

• Strong working knowledge of Java, preferably Java 8 or newer.
• Practical experience with Spring Boot and REST API development.
• Good command of PostgreSQL administration and SQL tuning.
• Solid Linux administration and troubleshooting abilities.
• Hands-on experience setting up and maintaining Jenkins-based CI/CD pipelines.
• Clear understanding of DevSecOps and secure delivery practices.
• Experience using Git or similar version control systems.
• Ability to work with Bash or other shell/automation scripting.
• Familiarity with application monitoring and logging tools.

Candidates with a B.Tech/B.E. in any specialization, B.Sc. in any specialization, or B.C.A. in any specialization may apply.
