About the Role
Ades Ventures Nigeria Limited is looking for a methodical, detail-focused, and self-driven Storekeeper to manage inventory flow and warehouse activities efficiently. The role involves receiving, safeguarding, issuing, and recording stock accurately while keeping inventory levels correct and helping day-to-day operations run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management
- Take delivery of incoming items, examine them, and confirm that they match what was ordered.
- Store goods in a way that protects their condition and preserves stock quality.
- Keep stock records up to date and document all inventory movement accurately.
- Carry out regular stock counts and scheduled inventory checks.
- Match physical stock quantities against recorded balances and resolve differences.
- Track inventory levels and raise replenishment requests when supplies are running low.
Store Operations
- Release materials and products only when there is proper authorization.
- Apply the First-In-First-Out method wherever it is relevant.
- Maintain a tidy, orderly, and secure store area.
- Tag and arrange inventory clearly so items can be identified quickly.
- Help reduce losses, spoilage, damage, and unauthorized removal of stock.
Documentation & Reporting
- Keep Goods Received Notes, Goods Issued Notes, Bin Cards, and other store records in good order.
- Prepare inventory reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Flag stock differences and discrepancies without delay.
- File all inventory records properly for easy retrieval.
Compliance & Safety
- Follow company procedures and policies related to inventory control.
- Assist with both internal and external stock audits.
- Observe health, safety, and housekeeping standards in the store.
Collaboration
- Coordinate with Procurement, Inventory, Production, Accounts, Sales, and Operations teams.
- Help ensure that internal material requests are completed on time.
Requirements
- Minimum qualification of OND, HND, or a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in storekeeping, inventory control, warehouse operations, or a comparable position.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and inventory management software.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate records, write clear reports, manage time well, and work effectively with a team.
- High level of integrity and accountability is required.
