Role Purpose

This position is responsible for running a straightforward piece of equipment under daily guidance and supporting day-to-day plant operations.

Key Duties

• Operate assigned equipment after receiving basic instructions.
• Monitor supplies so production can continue without interruption.
• Carry out small equipment tweaks to keep machinery running properly.
• Step in to support line roles during breaks when needed.
• Handle general plant housekeeping and utility tasks such as sweeping, lawn cutting or moving, trash collection, painting, and equipment cleaning.
• Take on additional tasks as required.
• Follow all workplace safety rules and procedures.

Skills and Knowledge Needed

• Fundamental understanding of equipment operation.
• Awareness of line role duties and workflow.
• Knowledge of basic plant cleaning and utility work.
• Strong time planning and prioritization ability.
• Ability to read and follow safety instructions.

Experience and Education

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. The role calls for 3 to 6 months of related experience, or an equivalent mix of education and experience that shows you can handle the main responsibilities.

Work Environment

This is a plant-based role in an industrial environment.
