About the Clinic
Osteo Tuina is a Chinese-Canadian healthcare clinic with more than 30 years of experience. It offers registered massage therapy, acupuncture, osteopathy, and traditional Chinese medicine through two Toronto locations: Downtown and North York. The clinic works with major Canadian insurance providers and provides direct billing to make access simpler for patients. The team is small, collaborative, culturally varied, and strongly focused on patient care.
Role Overview
The clinic is looking for a part-time Website Content Writer to support its online presence. This remote-friendly role involves producing and polishing English web copy that is easy to read, engaging, and search-engine friendly. The writer will partner with clinic management to make sure the website reflects the clinic’s services, values, and tone of voice accurately.
What You Will Do
- Draft and revise English content for service pages, landing pages, and blog articles
- Use fundamental SEO practices such as keyword placement, meta descriptions, and structured headings
- Refresh existing website material to improve readability, clarity, and brand tone
- Coordinate with the team so website messaging stays aligned with clinic services and current promotions
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of demonstrated experience in website copywriting or digital content writing
- Excellent English writing, editing, and proofreading ability
- Working knowledge of SEO basics and content optimization techniques
- Experience with WordPress or a similar content management system is considered an advantage
- Interest in, or prior exposure to, healthcare, wellness, or traditional Chinese medicine is preferred
- Comfort working on your own, managing deadlines, and communicating remotely
- A portfolio or sample writing is required
Schedule and Compensation
This is a part-time role with flexible hours and the option to work remotely. The location is Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and occasional in-person meetings may be needed. Pay will be discussed based on experience.
