Accounts Payable Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Analyst to join a leading MNC in Bangalore. This role is crucial for managing the company's financial transactions and ensuring accurate processing of invoices and payments.

Key Responsibilities

• Process incoming invoices and related accounts payable documents, verifying their accuracy and confirming payment liabilities.
• Ensure all payment authorizations adhere to established company procedures and accurately allocate expenses to the correct budget lines.
• Verify correct coding of all incoming invoices.
• Maintain organized and systematic filing of all invoices.
• Address and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to invoicing.
• Set up new vendor and candidate details within the financial system.
• Process approved expense claims accurately and efficiently.
• Perform necessary journal entries and data input to maintain trial balances.
• Execute general banking tasks as assigned by management.
• Extract and compile statistical data from financial records for analytical purposes.
• Support the month-end closing process by preparing journal vouchers and ensuring account balances are accurate.
• Respond to and resolve inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders regarding accounts payable matters.
• Assist in addressing Profit & Loss statement queries.
