Role overview
We are looking for a seasoned Agile / Project Manager to guide cross-functional teams through planning, execution, and delivery. This role focuses on keeping projects on track, coordinating people and resources, managing budgets and timelines, and ensuring clear communication with stakeholders. A strong emphasis is placed on Agile practices and continuous improvement to drive successful outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Own projects end to end, from kickoff to final delivery.
- Run Agile rituals such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Set the project scope, goals, timelines, and deliverables.
- Work with multiple teams to make sure milestones are completed on time.
- Track progress, risks, blockers, and interdependencies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee budgets, schedules, and allocation of team capacity.
- Share updates, progress reports, and recommendations with stakeholders and leadership.
- Champion Agile adoption and process improvements across the organization.
- Ensure the work supports business priorities and broader company goals.
- Keep project records, reports, and governance documentation organized and current.
Required qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience in project management, Agile delivery, Scrum Master work, or a similar function.
- Working knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and broader project management practices.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and juggling several projects at once.
- Hands-on familiarity with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Asana, Monday.com, Trello, or Microsoft Project.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management abilities.
- Good analytical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Preferred qualifications
- Background in technology, software development, digital transformation, or business process initiatives is an advantage.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe, or similar credentials are preferred.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning is useful.
- Exposure to risk management and change management processes is beneficial.
- Understanding of business analysis and process improvement methods is a plus.
Location and employment
This is a full-time position based in the United States. The role is onsite in New York, United States.
