Role overview

This role sits within the Data Strategy and Operations function of the Innovative Medicine Supply Chain, supporting the Master Data Operations team. The position is intended to keep master data accurate, regulated, and operationally ready so that product launch and supply activities can run smoothly. Core responsibilities

You will handle day-to-day master data operations with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and process control. The work involves coordinating master data changes, supporting data quality activities, and helping the wider supply chain through reliable data maintenance and operational support.

Detailed duties

Maintain and coordinate key master data records such as material masters, BOMs/recipes, and production versions in SAP/ECC and, where needed, through automated workflow tools.
Carry out impact assessments and feasibility checks for change requests so downstream functions such as planning, production, release, finance, and related processes can continue effectively.
Run data operations and data quality activities, including testing support, issue handling, data conversion, validation, and audit or compliance actions such as NC and CAPA.
Work with internal and external partners on tactical issues, provide practical guidance, transfer knowledge to third-party teams, and act as an escalation contact when needed.
Contribute to projects and departmental targets by applying tools and process improvements that strengthen master data execution.
Help prepare metrics, dashboards, and tracking materials that support efficient departmental operations.
Take part in operational and governance meetings, and at times lead discussions such as end-to-end reviews, value capture sessions, and third-party reviews.
Create and update operating documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, protocols, data quality catalogs, and other policy or procedure materials.
Deliver training to help partners understand procedures, data flows, and related ways of working.
Suggest practical and innovative improvements and support the refinement and rollout of those ideas.
Assist with the deployment of the Data Management Framework.

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate has a university degree and at least two years of relevant professional experience. Experience in healthcare or FMCG environments is strongly preferred. You should be comfortable working in a regulated setting, managing multiple priorities, and collaborating across a multicultural and remote team.

Tools, knowledge, and working style

Hands-on exposure to data processing platforms, especially SAP; experience with OMP+ is an advantage.
Working knowledge of master data processes, tools, and procedures.
Understanding of GxP expectations.
Basic business or technical understanding of supply chain data, supporting processes, and organizational operating models.
Proficiency with MS Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
Well-developed organization and prioritization abilities.
Ability to build collaborative relationships and influence others through clear explanation of facts, policies, and practices.
Comfort working on diverse, multicultural, and remote teams.
Ability to manage multiple initiatives in a matrixed environment where priorities can change quickly.
Fluency in English is required; local language ability is strongly preferred.
This position may involve up to 5% domestic and international travel, and an additional note indicates travel of up to 10% to other locations and sites may be required.
No people management or supervisory experience is required.

Working relationships

Internally, the role works with the IMSC MDM team and supply chain stakeholders such as development leads, end-to-end planning, site planning, finance, MAKE operations, and quality assurance. Externally, it partners with third-party suppliers supporting operational and project work.

Pay and benefits

The posting does not specify a base salary range. Eligible employees may participate in the company’s consolidated retirement plan and savings plan, and the role is eligible for the long-term incentive program.
