Job summary
The Assistant Financial Auditor is responsible for examining payment and disbursement orders to verify their accuracy, confirm that supporting documents are complete and valid, and ensure the transactions align with approved financial records. The role also includes preparing review reports and highlighting any observations found during the audit process.
Responsibilities
- Review disbursement and payment orders and confirm the accuracy of the information recorded in them.
- Check all supporting documents for each transaction to verify they are correct and complete.
- Reconcile disbursement and payment orders with accounting records.
- Prepare regular reports summarizing review findings and related remarks.
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Financial Management, or a closely related discipline is required. Candidates should have at least 2 to 3 years of relevant experience.
