Position Summary

The Assistant Store Manager role is based in Invermere, British Columbia and reports to the District Manager. This position supports day-to-day store operations, helps keep the store clean and customer-friendly, and assists in leading the team to deliver a positive retail experience.

What You Will Do

• Open and shut the store as required.
• Step in to manage the store and guide the team when the Store Manager is unavailable.
• Deliver strong customer service and handle questions and requests at the register and throughout the store.
• Receive, organize, and replenish merchandise.
• Build and maintain window setups, in-store displays, and signage.
• Carry out cycle counts in a timely manner.
• Handle returns, pricing updates, and markdowns.
• Help recruit, train, and build schedules for Associates and Keyholders.
• Prepare reports and payroll submissions for head office.
• Escalate loss prevention, health and safety, and damage-related incidents.
• Keep daily tour book entries and store task delegation up to date.
• Complete bank deposits.
• Manage daily paperwork and email correspondence.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2 to 3 years of retail experience.
• Strong customer service capability.
• Comfort working both independently and collaboratively in a changing environment.
• Ability to handle a fast-moving workplace with multiple priorities.
• Well-developed organization and time management skills.
• Availability for evening and weekend shifts.

Compensation
