BIM Modeller

Role Overview

Winner Engineering Pte Ltd is hiring a BIM Modeller to produce precise 3D BIM models for ACMV systems. The role focuses on modelling ductwork, piping, equipment, and related components from engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations, while ensuring the output supports fabrication, installation, and coordination needs.

Key Duties

• Create detailed and accurate 3D BIM models for ACMV works, covering ducting, piping, equipment, and associated parts.
• Interpret engineers’ drawings, design notes, specifications, and calculations to develop model output.
• Handle complex shapes and assemblies in line with project requirements and BIM execution standards.
• Prepare shop drawings, sections, and detailed views from the model for fabrication and site installation.
• Work with architects, engineers, and other project disciplines to protect design intent and settle clashes.
• Take part in BIM coordination sessions to detect and address conflicts between building systems.
• Use clash detection tools such as Navisworks to identify and resolve issues early in the design stage.
• Attach relevant project data to the model, including material details, manufacturer information, installation guidance, and maintenance schedules.
• Keep the model consistent and current throughout the project, incorporating the latest revisions.
• Produce model-based outputs such as material take-offs, equipment schedules, and construction sequencing reports.
• Apply a solid understanding of ACMV concepts, including ventilation rates, duct sizing, pipe sizing, and equipment selection.
• Use BIM tools such as Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD MEP, and Navisworks Manage effectively.
• Stay informed about current BIM standards and technologies, and support the preparation of as-built drawings.
• Assist the project team with technical guidance and help improve BIM workflows and implementation.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Proven background as an ACMV BIM Modeller or in a similar position.
• Strong working knowledge of Revit MEP and other relevant BIM applications.
• Good grasp of ACMV design principles and industry standards.
• Clear communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and communicate well in English.
