Role overview
The Merrion Hotel in Dublin is hiring a full-time Garden Room Breakfast Waiter for an early breakfast shift. This position is based in a centrally located luxury hotel with easy access to public transport and a strong focus on high standards, guest care, and team support. You will join an experienced crew and receive training to help you succeed in a rewarding service environment.
Key duties
- Prepare the restaurant before breakfast service begins.
- Deliver breakfast service to guests in line with The Merrion’s standards.
- Stay attentive to guest needs and respond proactively.
- Communicate effectively with all team members.
- Set up the restaurant for lunch after breakfast service.
Skills and expectations
- Strong knowledge of menu items.
- Working familiarity with MICROS.
- Professional presentation and behaviour at all times.
- Excellent guest focus and service mindset.
- Good spoken and written English.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

- Flexibility to adapt to guest and business needs.
Working pattern
This is a shift-based role with flexibility required. Early morning hours will be needed because the role covers breakfast service, and no two days will be exactly the same.
