Role summary

This is a full-time, on-site driving position based in Abu Dhabi. The selected candidate will be responsible for transporting passengers safely between assigned destinations, following road rules and company procedures at all times.

Key duties

• Operate a bus safely and transport passengers to the required locations.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety rules, and operating guidelines while on duty.
• Perform checks before trips to confirm the vehicle is roadworthy.
• Use defensive driving practices to reduce risk and ensure safe travel.
• Keep the vehicle clean and in good condition for passenger use.
• Make sure passengers remain comfortable and safe throughout the journey.
• Work with supervisors to follow schedules and daily route instructions.
• Respond politely to passenger questions or concerns during trips.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience driving buses or other heavy vehicles.
• A valid commercial driving licence for large vehicles.
• Knowledge of defensive driving and road safety practices.
• Training or familiarity with driver safety and passenger handling.
• Strong customer service approach and professional conduct with passengers.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to follow directions and timetables.
• At least 2 years of professional experience driving buses or heavy vehicles.
• Understanding of Abu Dhabi traffic rules and routes will be an advantage.
• Physical fitness to handle tasks that may involve bending or lifting.
